Since the end of December it had been too cold to work on Hatseflats. The past few days the weather was mild enough to work in the garage. Changes:
  • Dry fitted the hatches and the cleats. Test-fitted elastic cord to hold the hatches in place.
  • Used the router to cut the hole for the dagger board in the deck.
  • Dry-fitted deck stringers to reinforce the deck at the sides. This required a lot of work with the chisel to cut the notches for the stringers.
