Used Tesa tape for varnishing as masking tape and left it in place for 3 days.
This way I did not have to remove and reapply the tape after each layer of paint.
Worked perfectly.
This plastic tape is 3-4 more expensive than the paper-based tape but since you don't have to peel it off between
layers of paint it is well worth the extra money.
