Gunwale Maintenance

After six seasons of hard use, the gunwales were showing wear and tear and the oregon pine of the outwales was laid bare in places. I followed the advice from Joost and sanded the gunwales with 240 grit paper before applying 2 coats of two-pot polyurethane paint within 24 hours. Then waited for 48 hours and sanded with 320 grit paper before applying the final 2 coats.
